Mr Halsey spent 22 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. He was convicted in 1988 of murdering and sexually assaulting Tyrone and Tina Urquhart, the children of his girlfriend, with whom he lived at a Plainfield, New Jersey home. New DNA test shows that the semen belongs Clifton Hall, who was a key witness in convicting Halsey. Hall is in prision for three sex crimes committed in the early 90's. The bodies of Tyrone, 8, and Tina, 7, were found in the home's basement in November 1985. However the children's mother, Margaret Urquhart, said in a statement issued through the Innocence Project she had doubted Halsey's guilt.
