AT&T and Wendy’s were teaming up with a promotion when a young fellow came into Wendy’s for breakfast wearing a McDonald’s jacket. Everyone teased him about how he worked for McDonald’s but he came to Wendy’s for breakfast. The young fellow was such a good sport about the situation that Dave Thomas (the founder and CEO of Wendy’s) told his public relation person to get the young student’s information. Dave Thomas told the student when you are ready to go to college contact me and I will pay for your college education.
